Once out of the country, I received a rare and complicated diagnosis — one not easy to work up, especially within the constraints of Navy med. Dr. Bowman personally reached out to specialists, chased down referrals, and made sure I had access to the expertise I needed- all from outside the country. I’ve had the privilege of working with Dr. Bowman in two capacities — first as an orthopedic surgeon that she has referred countless patients to, and later as her patient.

As a colleague, I'm constantly impressed by how thoroughly she advocates for her patients. Her referrals contain detailed histories, exams, and an accurate surgical diagnosis. but more than that, they come with a genuine concern for each patient's wellbeing. Best physician you’ll find

I am a 55 year old lady who has unfortunately had more than my share of medical issues, to include a TBI from a car accident, five back surgeries, Shingles, depression, anxiety, and two blood clots in my brain. Out of all of the Dr’s, surgeons, neurologists, and specialists I have seen over the years, Dr. Bowman is by far the best Dr. I have ever had. Her bedside manner is warm and empathetic, never rushed, and a true champion for finding the best care plan for each patient. She explains the options, and allows you to play a part in deciding which course of action is best for your specific situation. From a medical perspective, she is the one and only Dr. I have ever trusted 100% with my health, and subsequently, with the health of my family. Not your average doc!

Dr. Bowman is a very knowledgeable doctor, but her people skills set her head and shoulders above the others. She is my father’s doctor. He’s 87, with multiple medical issues. We had an office visit recently that I know went well beyond the amount of time allotted for us, but she never let it show. She has also spent a great deal of time communicating with me, his caregiver, to get his recently diagnosed diabetes successfully controlled. My confidence is much greater knowing that we have her in our corner.

Best Doctor Ever

Dr. Bowman is the most loving and caring Doctor that I have ever meet. I highly recommend her for your family and individual care. She takes time to listen to your needs and tries to find the best care for you. She will even email or call you at night, if there's a problem she thinks needs to be address, instead of waiting until she sees you in the office or even the next day. Even when out in public she will acknowledge you and talk with you and you don't see most doctors do that. She truly loves her patients and she considers them family.
